Bhandary Seva Samiti

We are the Registered Organization founded in the year 1957, representing lakhs of Peoples belonging to Bhandary Community residing in Mumbai. We strive for their social, physical, moral, educational, and economic advancement, ensuring equality of status and opportunities, for every member.

Our Founders

Mumbai based several prominent members of our community envisioned founding the first Mumbai Bhandary Sangha in 1957, with the aim of uniting the members of the community. Following are the founding members of BSS- Bhujanga Bhandary, T.Seetaram Bhandary, U. Satish Bhandary, Vijayanand Bhandary, Rukmaya Bhandary, Mr. Gopal Bhandary(Yermal), Koragappa bhandari(Vikhroli), Mr. Soorappa Bhandary(Vileparle), H Vittal, Gurudas Bhandary.

BSS-Aims and Objectives

Our mission is to unite all community members in Mumbai to foster a spirit of brotherhood, belonging, and unity. We strive for their social, physical, moral, educational, and economic advancement, ensuring equality of status and opportunities. Our goal is to uplift the living conditions of every member of our community while promoting harmonious living in dignity and peace within Indian society, alongside pursuing social services and charitable initiatives.

BSS-Goals to Achieve

Our primary goal is to achieve financial independence for BSS, allowing us to serve our members more effectively. Although the dream of establishing a BSS community hall in Mumbai remains unfulfilled, we believe that with the support and cooperation of our community, we will one day create a small hall that will help us become self-reliant.
